What is a NAG?
A Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) is set up to deal with the key issues identified by the community’s public consultation.
NAGs are volunteer working groups which are key to the success of neighbourhood policing as the group will plan on behalf of the community and organise the tasks to be completed.
Who forms a NAG?
The Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) involves the local community and includes local residents, parish councillors, the police and other organisations to work together to make the Loughton and Great Holm NAG neighbourhood a safer place to live.

The Loughton and Great Holm Neighbourhood Action Group Committee.
A NAG is a multi-agency, problem-solving group that consists of relevant partner agencies, key stakeholders and, most importantly, members of the local community. The Loughton and Great Holm NAG meets monthly and is currently made up of:
- 3 Loughton residents
- 4 Great Holm residents
- 2 Parish Councillors
- 1 Milton Keynes Senior Officer
- 1 Milton Keynes Ward Councillor
- and representatives from your local policing team
