All Change At All Saints

E-mail Print PDF

All Saints' Church Loughton Milton KeynesJanuary 2010

Thanks to the hard work and generosity of the many people connected with Loughton’s church the year long effort to raise sufficient funds for new flooring, heating and seating has been successful.

By mid-December the decision could be safely taken to go ahead. Christmas services were held as normal with the last service being held on 27th December.

The following week members of the congregation cleared the building and the contractors arrived on Monday, 4th January.

There is plenty of evidence of the extent of the work if you take a stroll around the church. Inside there is lots of activity and the on site archaeologist is being kept busy photographing and measuring as new areas of the floor are exposed.

Work is expected to last until the end of May.

Sunday services at 8.00am and 10.30am continue to take place as normal but during the closure period these are being held at the MacIntyre Centre on Great Holm.

You’re most welcome to come and join us.

Roger Blackburn. Churchwarden – All Saints’ Church.
